Policies & Procedures

Admission Policy
Admission to Al-Falah Islamic School is based on:

  • First-come, first-served basis according to the priority list established for new admissions based on the date and time that an application is received in the office.
  • Entrance test results (for grade 2 and up).
  • Most recent academic report card.
  • In some cases the student's acceptance will be conditional based upon specific behaviour and/or academic outcomes for a specific period of time. If these outcomes are not met the school reserves the right to remove the student from school.

Parents may place pre-school children on the priority list for future years by completing an application for each child and submitting it to the school along with a non-refundable administration fee of $25.00 per application. Admission cannot be guaranteed, as it depends on the number of openings available and the position of a child on the priority list.

To continue attending Al-Falah after admission has been granted, students must register again each year during registration week. Please see the school calendar for re-registration dates.

Exceptional Students

Al-Falah Islamic School currently does not have the facilities to accommodate students with learning disabilities and/or special needs. Parents will be consulted and may be asked to withdraw the child from the school if he/she is identified as having special needs.
